Placenta Essex approached GrewDev for a complete website redesign and rebuild.   • Custom Figma Design: Created high-fidelity wireframes and full Figma designs for all key pages, establishing a cohesive visual language built around the brand's olive-green and warm neutral palette.
  • Brand Positioning: Designed a visual identity that communicates professional excellence — IPEN training, BGI.uk insurance, Level 2 HACCP certification — without losing the personal, family-run warmth at the heart of the brand.
  • Product Page UX: Designed a bespoke product page layout including a custom capsule type selector (radio card layout), delivery area dropdown, optional add-on checkbox grid, and an inline price summary — all crafted to reduce friction and build buying confidence.

3. Development Phase

  • Platform: Built on WordPress with WooCommerce, using the Hello Elementor theme and Elementor Pro for flexible, performant page building.

Wrote extensive custom CSS to transform the default YITH output into the bespoke card-based layout designed in Figma — including split-border card technique, selected-state styling, and full mobile responsiveness.
